A Grievance to the Health Minister: We, the People of India, Urge You to Reject Amendments to the IHR.
In recent years, the healthcare system in India has faced numerous challenges. Citizens of this great nation have come together with a common voice, expressing their concerns and grievances to the Health Minister. This article aims to shed light on the pressing issues faced by the people of India, their experience with the healthcare system.
The International Health Regulations, established by the World Health Organization (WHO), are a set of rules and guidelines that govern how countries respond to and manage public health emergencies of international concern.
However, recent amendments to the IHR have raised valid concerns among the people of India. These amendments include provisions that could potentially compromise our sovereignty, undermine our healthcare system, and have adverse effects on our economy.
The failure of the IHR to address the side effects and deaths associated with COVID-19 vaccines has significant consequences on public trust. Vaccination hesitancy and skepticism are on the rise, fueled by concerns about the lack of robust reporting systems and the perceived secrecy surrounding adverse events.
Many governments and regulatory agencies around the world have been criticized for withholding information about adverse events related to COVID vaccines.
Here is an urgent appeal enclosed for Shri Mansukh Mandaviya (MoHFW) and Mr. Tedros Ghebreyesus (DG, WHO) from concerned citizens and experts.

It addresses the imminent amendments to the International Health Regulations (IHR) 2005, particularly WHA75.12. This letter urgently urges the Government of India to wholeheartedly decline these amendments.
The proposed changes in health regulations could limit India’s capacity to adapt in the future. It’s crucial to act fast and make sure that India’s opposition is communicated to the WHO Director-General before November 30, 2023, as emphasized in the letter.
